I have sensitive dry skin and this is great, it does tingle a little but I actually like that. I find when I have pimples come up this helps to get rid of them quicker and settle them down. The smell is nice too

Not for me unfortunately.

After years of looking at the products online I finally treated myself. Unfortunately this product burns on my face. I used water and a tiny amount but 30 seconds was more than enough. Face was red and burning all night, today it's not red but still feels like it's burning, like active sunburn.
I should have done a patch test like the product suggested, only read it after use. I'm not using it again and I'm hesitant to use the other products I bought, will give my skin a chance to recover first.

Hi Jana, Our Super Acai Exfoliator is certified organic and made with natural salts and organic oils, so there are no synthetic ingredients that would chemically burn your skin. However, the salt may be too harsh for your skin, especially if too much pressure is applied.
If you’d like to give it another try in the future, we’d recommend mixing it with Glory Oil or your cleanser to soften the exfoliant - try using it on your body to start with x

Disappointing

I LOVE Eco's products; particularly the citrus cleanser and glory oil. This one is just baffling. I wish I could get a refund. It felt like I was putting sunscreen on - yes it's that greasy. Took a closer look at the ingredients and sure enough the second largest ingredient is coconut oil! An exfoliator is a cleanser with a touch of grittiness for a deeper clean. Oils are for moisturising - hence Glory Oil. Gave it to my sister, asked her how it was going, she chucked it.
I was so looking forward to another great product! This isn't it.
-- If you rejigged this, left out the oil but same lovely smell and grit, I'd be a lifetime customer.

This exfoliant destroyed my skin barrier - while yes it stripped blackheads, I broke out so badly and ended up with incredibly raw, damaged sensitive skin regardless of having it on for a minute as well as using the glory oil. be weary using this exfoliant if you have oily skin. Their serums are good though.

Hi Kayla, our Super Acai Exfoliator is a very powerful physical exfoliant, so it can feel a little strong for some skin types. A tip that helps is wetting your hands before applying, as this softens the salt for a gentler exfoliation x
