Glory Veil SPF 50+

Amazing sunscreen. Yes it is thick and can feel slightly gritty but this disappears quickly on the skin and absorbs in well. It doesn't make my skin, particularly my nose and t zone, oily during the day.
I am a repeat buyer and love this stuff for weekends. The zinc is really good for your skin and I am all for natural products that work and do as they say they do.

I don’t like using brands that have toxic chemicals in them. The Glory Veil is full of natural ingredients, feels amazing when applying it and provides protection.

This is probably my tenth bottle at this stage! I LOVE this sunscreen. I have eczema and it doesn’t irritate me at all. It looks great under makeup. If my skin is really dry, sometimes it take a while to rub in but I’ll definitely continue to repurchase!

I work on a farm in far north qld. This time of the year is very hot and humid with high to extreme UV. This is the best natural sunscreen iv come across. I dont get sunburn at all and I apply as directed (ruffly every 2 hours)
I recommend this to anyone as it actually works. In the past all sunscreen has made me burn worse then without sunscreen. Sonya's sunscreen range is the only thing that work on my type of skin.

My daughter recommended the Glory Veil 50+ face sunscreen and I absolutely love it. I have used it for almost 2 years and like the coverage and the slight sheen it gives my skin.

I’ve tried an array of mineral sunscreens on the market and this is hands down the best one. It isn’t too think, doesn’t leave a white cast and still protects the skin from sunburn. It also feels silky smooth to apply and sits on the skin like a nicely (doesn’t stay greasy or sticky). I’ve just purchased the face one!

I was using the Eco Songa face sunscreen spf 30. It was great didn’t break out my sensitive skin and was smooth and silky. The recent formula change (spf 50) breaks out my skin so much, it is thick and harsh on my sensitive skin. I am disappointed with this, bring back the old formula!!

We love this sunscreen. We apply using a brush (The block brush works amazing with this sunscreen) and my daughter likes to put some translucent powder over the top. No sunburn since using it. Lovely feel and fragrance.

I want to love is as its important to wear everyday but under normal make up looks very shiny and greasy.
Will probably not mind the shine in summer.

We are all using it as we travel this summer.
A little goes a long way & we don’t look blue after application.
It’s really moisturising too & part of our daily skincare routine.

We recently took a family trip to Fiji and used Glory Veil SPF 50+ religiously—and not a single one of us got sunburnt! Approved by all five family members, this sunscreen truly delivered. Since switching to a low-tox lifestyle a few months ago, I did a deep dive into natural sunscreens, and this one kept coming up in my research. It’s honestly been a lifesaver.

The texture is smooth and blends beautifully into the skin—no white cast or greasiness. The only downside is the size; with a family of five, we went through it quickly, so I’d definitely love to see it offered in a larger option.

I’ve already recommended it to my parents (both of whom have had skin cancer scares), and my mum’s already bought a tube. I highly rate all my Eco by Sonya products, and knowing it’s an Australian-made brand makes me love it even more.

I have spent years going through every chemical sunscreen available because of my sensitive skin and eyes, with no success . I then started trying mineral sunscreens but although I fixed the skin and eye issues I then looked like a ghost and dreadful transfer onto everything I touched as they are thick .
I came across ECOTAN but the reviews were mixed, some saying white haze on skin and thick and greasy. I didn’t purchase because of those reviews until I discovered a tester in a chemist . Seriously I couldn’t wait to get home and purchase. There is NO white haze and it’s not heavy and greasy , it’s luxurious. Believe me that this has been an expensive and years long search for the perfect sunscreen and the search is over.

Initial application white, but , clears when applied. Face or Body absolutely beautiful sheen that will eventually mattify in the half to one hour. If you like the glow of fresh skin and good ingredients on your skin this is for you. I slather onto my Neck and Décolletage and Arms every day. During Summer, apply at all exposed areas. If I’m getting dressed just let dry while doing makeup or hair before I pop on any tight dark pants/leggings etc…Love the Suncreens, never stings or runs into eyes. If you don’t like it just use it on your arms and hands in the car, or give it to a friend to trial or someone that might need it🤗

I have been using this sunscreen for awhile now. It goes along way and I find that it also hydrates my skin. I also have very reactive skin and find that this is actually soothing. We no longer us any other sunscreen!

Love this sunscreen so much. I am currently on a cruise and use it everyday while getting off at the islands and swimming. It is really hydrating and my skin just loves it. Thank you Eco Tan for bringing out such an important product for us all to use. Love it SO much!

I agree with other reviewers about the greasiness of this sunscreen (my hair gets oily when in contact with skin that’s had it recently applied) but I’m really impressed with how well it protected my skin. For medical reasons I haven’t been able to go in the sun for three consecutive summers. That means that I was extremely pale before going to the beach this summer. That made me concerned about the likelihood of getting more burnt than usual. Today I arrived at the beach during the height of the UV rays and was there for a couple of hours (and included going swimming without reapplying). I don’t have one bit of sunburn after using this sunscreen and that is quite amazing. I love that my skin can be so well protected without having to use any toxic ingredient containing products.

I am surprised by all the poor reviews as I have found this to be the best natural SPF I have tried, and once settled into skin is completely clear. If one is coming from “conventional” spf products they may find this thicker and takes longer to absorb, but it is a tiny sacrifice for how natural this product is. Love love love it and such clean ingredients.

Is a thick consistency, is greasy at the start however dries smooth shortly after. Love that the product is organic & safe to use on the kids. Will continue to use

I'm surprised by the reviews of this product because I found the sunscreen really good. Used it during our trip to Bali in November when the weather was very hot. It was very effective. It is a thicker consistency like most natural sunscreens as mentioned in other reviews, but i also felt it was not as greasy as the others I've tried. Definitely not a lotion like many chemical laden sunscreens, but more like a very rich cream that is a little greasy until you give it some time to absorb - happy with that considering how clean the ingredients are and this is very important to me. No issues with white cast. Overall it's my favourite natural sunscreens I've tried so far.

I used the Eco Sonya Glory Veil Face Sunscreen for the first time yesterday and found it to be a little oily and tacky when applied to my face. I personally believe that this product needs further development and improvement to make it feel much better when applied.

This sunscreen at first can be quite thick and cause a white cast, however after using a bit less and letting it sit on the skin, it looks beautiful.

Natural sunscreens tend to be of thicker consistency so that was to be expected. It leaves a beautiful glow to the skin that lasts all day and is not sticky.

Also looks beautiful under makeup, just let it sit on the skin for around 10 minutes before applying

It goes on really well the consistency is great and feels good on the skin however noticed it made my skin really dry and scaly after a week of using it. A colleague of mine had the same thing happen with the dry skin.
