Glory Veil Face Sunscreen SPF 50

This sunscreen is wonderful rubs in clear, leaves no white cast and the ingredients are wonderful. I highly recommend.

Great spf, smells nice and rubs in clear and would be great on face and neck for a big day out in the sun. However it is not suitable for under makeup as it’s way too thick and doesn’t dry down unfortunately.

Absolutely beautiful mineral sunscreen.
This goes on thick and can be somewhat difficult to rub into your skin but once it had warmed up it applies well. Don't change this formula!!

Yes, it is thick and greasy! I too struggled with this in the beginning. So much so that I used it once, hated it, and put it in the cupboard for about 4 months. Then my other sunscreen ran out and it was taken off the market due to it not providing the claimed protection (this happened to a lot of brands). I used it because I did not have an alternative. Then, I was so glad I did. It turns out that the thick, sticky consistency acts as the best primer/make-up base. It's fantastic! You do need to get used to a new normal and because I use it as a make-up base, the white coating does not matter as it's covered with concealer and foundation. Now, I actually love it. It does take time to rub it in evenly, but given the plumpness that it produces, it worth the extra minute or so to do this. If you can persevere, I really recommend this product because you don't need primer/make-up base when you wear it. Love it!

No stench like the last one (had to throw it out!!) so tried it on in a store before I purchased it this time. The recommended amount left me ghost-white. Definitely thicker than expected and using less, makes it drag and tug on my skin.

Apart from that, I love the Eco By Sonya range!

The product is amazing for the face and makes the skin feeling nourished. It also does a great job of sun protection. The downside for me is when applying, it feels like it drags my skin because the texture is thick and sticky and it also doesn’t sit under makeup, by the end of the day my makeup has separated. But i think that will happen with any zinc/thick sunscreen, but I’ll have to tolerate.

This sunscreen is very thick and not quick and easy to apply as it takes some effort to rub in. After that it also really "sits on your skin", which is probably how it works (and it does work great!), but it doesn't feel great. It does it's job though and my skin has no issues with it which is great.

Love it the consistency is perfect no ugly smell and protects the face

I’m very happy with my face sunscreen, goes on super easy and doesn’t feel heavy on skin.

This is the only sunscreen I can use on my face sue to super sensitive skin. It is thick but not oily at all, I don't get break-outs from it and my skin do not get irritated and no burning eyes. It is also great under a foundation, I also don't feel it on my skin. It's a great product !

Would rate it more if possible. Great on my super sensitive skin. Lasts for a while if used everyday. Doesn't have a nasty ingredients and smell.

I preferred this to the previous spf and read the reviews and tips on how to make it rub in evenly, which it did. Unfortunately I have had to stop using it as it gave me breakouts. I know it says it doesn’t clog pores, but something didn’t work for my skin as once I stopped using it my skin cleared up again. I’d definitely recommend if you don’t have breakout prone skin.

It’s a great sunscreen and I love that it doesn’t have that “sunscreen” smell & love that it’s all natural products to it but it is very greesy & leaves my skin super shiny & feels wired like I’m not clean when i wear it & it’s also hard to remove at the end of the day. Too pricey for what it is

I really wanted to like this, but it’s one product I won’t be buying again. It’s extremely sticky when applied - and despite the claim of it rubbing in clear, is this meant to be rubbed in for 5 mins straight? I couldn’t get it to the point of where I couldn’t see it. And then still it’s tacky. I did not like it all, however I do like that the ingredients are safe.

Even though I am aware that natural sunscreens may be thicker/more oily, this product is quite extreme. The old face sunscreen was far better, not greasy, and absorbed much more efficiently. Super sad you can't purchase the old product anymore. The current might be good for no make up days but it's not very good under makeup, at all. Unfortunately- quite disappointed. I usually adore your products. I can also see, many others agree. It might be worth taking notice of so many people saying the same?

Initially I was very sceptical about this sunscreen as it appeared to be so thick and white, however, after a few minutes it seems to settle into the skin and leave a radiant glow.

I live in Queensland and decided I should invest in a good quality everyday facial sunscreen, so I bought one that uses natural ingredients but it caused a terrible irritation to my face. I brought it back to the store and got the Glory Veil face sunscreen. It's so soothing on the skin and feels very protective. It is economical because you only need a small amount on the face and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I love the face care products, so bought some Glory Veil sunscreen & tanning products, which have been very disappointing unfortunately. The Glory Veil sunscreen is thick, greasy & leaves a white mask on my face. It feels like the zinc cream that cricketers wear. I immediately washed it off and won’t use it again.
The Face Tan water works ok, but the fake tan smell is awful and the colour comes off the minute I wash my face again. It is just like wearing make up.. but stinky.
Same with the winter skin gradual tan lotion. Works ok, but the smell is awful.. even after two showers the fake tan smell is very strong.
I absolutely love Glory Oil, Serum of Plenty & the Super Fruit hydrating moisturiser, but the tanning products have failed me and the sunscreen is going in the bin after one use.

I find this version WAY too thick & sticky with an extremely white cast that doesn't settle after 20 minutes of application and foundation slips off after a couple of hours. Much preferred its predecessor- the SPF 30 for Face which worked well under makeup and wasn't sticky or greasy.
Also, a pump or flip top would be much more user friendly and efficient.

It’s quite thick but I blend it with the super fruit hydrator and it is amazing!!!
It blends really well and leaves your skin feeling soft and plump and let’s not forget…..protected!!!

While this is really thick and can be hard to apply, it really does disappear leaving NO horrible white marks and the coverage is fantastic.

This sunscreen is thick compared to chemical sunscreens but it leaves your skin feeling hydrated and is the first to not cause my skin to break out. I’ve seen many comments not liking the thickness however, I find it leaves my skin looking and feeling glowy and it’s all I use each morning since starting the Eco by Sonia serums 🩷

I’m currently taking Isotretinoin 20mg after suffering cystic acne for years. Taking this medication makes my skin very dry and even more sensitive. This is the only sunscreen that has helped with the redness, inflammation and scarring. Rubs in clear, natural nice smell to it and lasts all day! Great quality ingredients. My friends and family have commented on my skin since using this product. Finally found my all time favourite sunscreen!! :)

This is perfect!!! Normal sunscreen makes my face break out badly. This does not make me break out!!!!

I love this sun screen as I am very fair skinned and it is very effective. I also don't mind the smell.

My husband & myself are very happy with this product.No more poisoning our body.The cream is slightly thick & needs to be rubbed in.My husband has been using another face SPF 50 for the last 20 years,as soon as he started using this cream his sneezing & coughing has ceased.

I am an evangelical lover of Eco Tan, but this product does not live up to its marketing. You definitely know that you’re wearing it, as it is thick, difficult to spread and leaves your face shiny. It feels like every other zinc sunscreen out there. I can’t wear this daily - this will be for lying by the pool or watching the kids playing sport. That given said, it is probably a good sunscreen option for anyone with problematic skin as it no doubt lives up to the claim that it won’t break you out. It just isn’t what I was looking for, unfortunately. I was hoping for a lightweight, non-greasy sunscreen that can be worn daily as part of my usual skincare routine. Alas, I will keep on looking!

I wasn’t sure when I first applied it as it is thicker than what I have previously used but I love it. Once rubbed in you don’t even notice you’re wearing it. My new daily sunscreen and I love it’s all natural and organic! Thanks ecotan!
