Cacao Tanning Mousse

I have tried many different tans over the years and settled on a well known brand for a long time. However, after having a baby I wanted something more natural and came across eco tan. It is amazing and ticks all the boxes - not too sticky, dries well, easy to sleep in or wear through the day and no overpowering tan smell! You are also left with the most natural looking tan that fades beautifully and doesn’t dry your skin out or feel itchy after a couple of days.
I find that if you exfoliate and do your hair removal the day before you plan to tan, you get the best outcome.

The worst self tan I've ever purchased. I've used this a couple of times and I keep regretting my purchase. Every time I've use it I get zero colour. And I've left it on over night, also not to mention it stinks.

I've been using this mousse for years now and it gives me a nice tan with no bad smell, I use it nearly every day and apply it after my shower before bed. It doesn't come off onto my sheets either!

I've now use this on 2 occasions and have enjoyed the colour. It's really easy to apply and doesn't smell horrid like a lot of other fake tans out there, and isn't patchy or streaky at all (even around knees/elbows/ankles) if you exfoliate well before use. However, I would say the 'deep bronze' description is wrong as it is not a deep colour at all. It's more like a soft/light golden bronze, even after 2 applications. I wore 1 application to work and washed off 8 hours later and it barely did anything to my skin so I re-applied again before bed and washed off in the morning. Left my skin with a light golden colour which is maybe the same colour as one application of a cheaper brand of fake tan. It also comes off and stains your towel after each shower so you have to be very careful about patting dry for the next few days afterwards if you want it to last. I haven't noticed it transferring on my sheets yet which is good. Still yet to be seen if it holds up in hot weather when I'm sweating a bit.
I think I'll try the hempitian one next to see if it is any better.

I’m a huge fan of your product range and I’ve been buying the Face tanning water, Glory Oil and daily moisturiser for a couple of years and will continue to do so. I bought the tanning mousse for my overseas holiday, leaving my usual brand at home. The first application made no difference at all and I thought I’d exfoliated too close to application. I’ve applied twice on holiday and the only part that has tanned is, inexplicably as I used a mitt, the palm of my hands. I’d say my sun spots are now a shade of milky coffee but no tan. The mousse, compared to others I’ve used is a very creamy colour and not dark. I would have preferred to send an email and not a poor review but couldn’t find another way of contacting you. So disappointed as I can’t figure it out, as I always use fake tanning mousse in summer.

At my advanced age, and having tried a gazillion tan products [ following melanomas] this is simply a wonderful product.....
Truly, I cannot recommend it highly enough.....

This is the best tanning product I have ever used - and over the years I have tried many! Gives a golden tan with just one application. I then use the winter skin to moisturise (AM & PM) which enhances my tan.

I have used ALOT of fake tanning products and this is the absolute best I have ever found. Goes on so smoothly and evenly. I do a double coat when I want to be extra tanned and then use winter skin throughout the week, keeps the tan looking so natural. Lasts on me for 1-2 weeks with this method.

I have used numerous self-tans over the last 22 years. During my 20s, I used numerous designer self tans, including Christian Dior and Estée Lauder for many years, but they had lots of chemicals in their products.
Thankfully, Eco Tan arrived on the scene and created products with your health and well-being in mind. I LOVE this self-tanner the most! I have observed that the more melatonin you have in your skin, the deeper the colour. For example, when I have been in the sun, the colour I get from this product is beautiful (I only use it on my face). I do notice that when it is winter, and I do not get any sun on my skin, that the colour is lighter than when I am.
I love how this product has organic aloe vera as my skin loves it! I highly recommend 🩷🩷

used the cacao mouse last night for the first time. Had a shower at midnight, put on the mouse with mitt and woke this morning. Had a shower and it is the most fantastic shade. Very very impressed. This was the last of your tanning products that I have tried. I love all of them, they all work a little differently or have a slight difference in result. But the cacao mouse is by far my favourite! Thanks sonya and team. By the way, I think all three of us girls in this house are going to be taking turns with the burgundy corduroy tote. Love it 😀 😍

In my package I received a letter with a lovely long message and a little black book explaining how to use the tanning mousse. There was lots of care put into this packaging and I truly appreciated the message written. As for the tan, it smells pretty great (nowhere near the smell of DHA in a spray tan, I work at a tanning salon and the smell of a spray tan is pretty strong) and goes on very easily and dries quick. The colour is gorgeous and I really have nothing negative to say about it :) I am by no means rich and can barely afford fake tan but I will 100% be buying this again and again. That’s how good it is !!

Purchased a bundle for my teen daughter to try self tan for the first time. We followed the instructions to a tee after showering and exfoliating. Applied in the afternoon and left on overnight. Barely noticeable the next day. Looked like she had not self-tanned at all. Sadly disappointed with this product.

I really love this Tan. I find I need to do it two days in a row for my desired result, but it’s so nice and natural. Any chance of making a deeper Tan mousse so only one application? I’d love a deeper glow. ✨

As a redhead I've had my share of tanning disasters. A pity, as I'm a regular tanner. I've been searching for a new tan since my old much loved brand stopped making my favourite. Being a ginger, I figured I should play it safe and apply for just an hour. Literally nothing. The next day I tried again, this time for two hours. Again, nothing. At this point I was pretty much ready to throw the whole thing in the bin when I decided to just throw caution to the wind and leave it on overnight. Surprisingly, I developed a lovely tan. Which only improved with a second application the next night. I'm applying it about every third night with a mitt now and it's pretty much perfect. Put on just like a moisturiser and leave. No annoying timer to set to wash off, no gross tan smell and no discoloured sheets or clothes. So far this is a winner. Super happy with this purchase.

I fake tan regularly and was excited to try this. I was immediately disappointed. Not only does it smell bad and quite strong I didn’t even get much of a tan after 2 applications. And started to blotch after 2 days it looked awful. Other products are good but the tan is not. Would not buy again.

I went to buy another brand's mousse from my local health store but it was out of stock so I bought the this one instead. I washed off the first application after 3 hours and it wasn't quite dark enough for me so I applied a second coat the next day and I was really pleased with it - and I've been fake tanning for years. I guess i could also try leaving it on for longer or overnight. SO - I would really love you to make the mousse in a bigger bottle please Sonia! 🙏 💕😘

I’ve been a long time user of the invisible tan and have recently returned back to using the cacao mousse. After a few times of having to use another commercial non organic tanner, I noticed my asthma was playing up and the smell was making me horribly nauseous. I returned to the amazing Eco-tan products and will never use anything again. Asthma not flaring now and no horribly stained sheets or smell. Coverage is amazing and there is no stickiness at all. Will be telling everyone I know to buy xx

Definitely not dark enough, tried applying with my hands and mit and both made streaks. Rather orange on my skin not sure how it would be for others but I am on the more paler side. Seems really sticky after a decent application.

Excited to try this as I love the face tan water but was so disappointed. I put 2 coats on around 2pm and washed off the next morning and can only see the barest hint of colour.

I thought id try out the tanning moose as i love using ECO products and im blown away!
There's no "tan" smell and develops so quickly. My tan has lasted over a week and still looks good without any blotchy areas or the need to exfoliate! Highly recommend!

Super impressed with this product, just awesome, I found it hard to get off my hands but really like this product, will definitely be buying again, 5 star ⭐

Like all Eco Tan products this one ☝️ didn’t disappoint either!
Exfoliated in shower, Pat dry and then one application with glove. Wait to dry 15 minutes then 2nd application! Slept with tan on and woke up with a beautiful tan, colour was perfect! It was that simple, easy and effective! No smell no stains on bed linen and no stickiness whatsoever! 👍

Have found mousse very easy to use!! Love the colour no streaks!! Perfect for me!!

I have enjoyed Winter Skin in the cooler months giving me that glow I needed in the cooler months. However now we are enjoying warmer weather it was time to try the Cacao Tanning Mousse, and WOW Summer is here....on my skin. I love love, love this product. It goes on so evenly (I used a mitt), no strong odor, no streaking.
I now have a Summer look which I love.

I highly recommend this tanning mousse!! I was a bit skeptical at first but thought I’d give it a go and I have never looked back!! Perfect natural looking tan every single time. I put this on at night and sleep in it, then have a shower in the morning finding this works best for me. 😊😊
