Aloe Vera Benefits on Skin
Aloe Vera Benefits on Skin are seriously endless! Even before I started Eco Tan, I have had a long love and trust in Aloe Vera. I couldn’t imagine life without this healing plant. You will even find an Aloe plant at the front door of my home in Queensland, Australia. I am constantly snapping of a leaf for a visitor, proclaiming all the benefits!

Aloe Vera is truly a gift to us from mother nature…
Aloe Vera is renowned for its medicinal qualities as it is packed with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins and antioxidants. The benefits of this plant are countless, but just to highlight a few:
- Anti-inflammatory and cooling properties help reduce redness and soothe sunburn
- Natural healing properties have been shown to heal wounds, cuts, scars and even insect bites
- Antibacterial and antimicrobial properties can protect the skin from bacteria to reduce acne
- As it is rich in Vitamins C and E, it helps fight signs of ageing and improve skin elasticity
- Research has shown that Aloe Vera improves skin hydration and provides long lasting moisture to soothe dry skin and rashes
- Aloe Vera can also be used to treat more severe skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema
- … and the list goes on and on (read more at Natural Living Ideas)
Not only is it amazing on the skin, Aloe leaf juice also has a great effect on GERD (heartburn). I know this from personal experience, because I use to have gerd. If I partake in too much acid forming foods and beverages, it comes back to haunt me…
Now you can see why I choose to use Aloe Vera in so many of my Aussie-made organics!
Blessings xx
