Music Festival Essentials – have you packed everything?
Here we go again – the festival season has well and truly kicked off worldwide! After seeing and hearing the amazing music and art at Coachella, if you, like us, are vowing to yourself you won’t miss another festival this season, we have good news for you! Not only have we combined highlights from the line up of global festivals in 2016, we’ve also prepared a list of music festival essentials. Yep, the ultimate list of camping beauty products to pack.
So first, which festivals will we be seeing you at?
Groovin The Moo kicks off this weekend in Maitland, with five festivals to follow throughout regional locations across Australia. Ticket sales for our favourite Australian festival, Splendour in the Grass, were also released on Thursday – I hope you didn’t miss out!
For our European Eco babes, we’ll be envious watching from the other side of the world of those lucky enough to be at Glastonbury in the United Kingdom, by Tomorrowland in Belgium and we couldn’t forget about Sziget in Hungary. Over in America, as the temperatures rise, we are dreaming of attending The Governor’s Ball in New York City, followed by Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Secondly, what should you bring?
We want to make sure you don’t spoil your festival experience by forgetting to pack any music festival essentials:
This is so important! Being outdoors for long periods of time in the shining sun can mean that you’ll get burnt quicker than you think! Instead of taking your regular BB crème, we recommend taking our Natural Coconut Sunscreen with natural mineral zinc to ensure daily sun protection. Pair it with a wide brimmed felt hat to look instantly chic & help protect you from those rays.
We can almost guarantee that bad breath will not be popular in a crowd. Our solution is a travel size mouthwash – anything that keeps you clean at your campsite without requiring running water is a definite winner.
We’ve all learnt by now that music festivals are sweaty! Grab a handy travel size deodorant, such as our award winning Natural Coconut Deodorant, a natural alternative that actually works, to keep you fresh all festival long without nasty aluminium or parabens.
A few days without washing your hair = not ideal. Tame your mane with a dry shampoo to keep it looking fresh. You can even play hairdressers with some of your friends and try out popular festival hair-dos – we love all the different ways people now braid their hair!
Why not try our Certified Organic personal outdoor body spray? With a divine lemongrass smell, our Personal Outdoor Spray is cleverly blended with essential oils to keep you smelling fresh all day long!
You can never go wrong have a stash of band-aids to care for any festival wounds. You never know when they might come in handy & they’ll help keep you dancing all day & night!
You are dreaming if you think your amazing curls have any chance of winning a fight against the mosh-pit. Trust us, pack a few hair ties, you’re going to want to tie your hair up while you get down!
